Program Description

The Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHS) is a four-year undergraduate degree designed to prepare students for diverse roles in the healthcare sector. This program provides a strong foundation in human biology, public health, clinical sciences, research methods, and healthcare management. Students gain theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills through laboratory work, field training, internships, and community-based projects.

The BHS program equips students to understand health systems, improve patient outcomes, support clinical teams, and contribute to public health initiatives. Graduates are prepared to work in hospitals, laboratories, research centers, government health departments, NGOs, and private health organizations.


Program Outcome

Graduates of the BHS program will be able to:

1. Scientific & Clinical Knowledge

  • Demonstrate understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, microbiology, and pharmacology.
  • Apply scientific principles to analyze health problems and propose solutions.

Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

  • Intermediate / Higher Secondary Certificate (F.Sc Pre-Medical) or equivalent
  • Minimum 45%–50% marks (institution may vary)
  • O-Level / A-Level or equivalent qualifications (IBCC equivalence required)
